Leapin' Lizards! Meet Molly, Duffy, Pepper and More as Broadway.com Introduces the Orphans of Annie

Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! Broadway is about to be invaded by an adorable group of youngsters as the classic family musical Annie returns to the Great White Way. Broadway.com is introducing audiences to each of the talented rising stars who play the orphans (including Annie herself, Lilla Crawford!) in Broadway.com's exclusive new video series Little Girls, Little Girls: Meeting the Orphans of Annie. The series kicks off on September 24.

From fashionista Tyrah Skye Odoms (who plays Kate) to the Annie legacy Georgi James (Pepper), the series will highlight a young member of the Annie cast each day with a personalized video and a portrait by Broadway.com photographer Jenny Anderson. 

Inspired by the comic strip Little Orphan Annie, the musical Annie follows a young Depression-era orphan who goes to temporarily live with the rich and famous Daddy Warbucks. The young cast of Annie sings some of the musical’s most famous numbers, including “It’s A Hard Knock Life” and “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile.” 

Directed by Tony winner James Lapine and co-starring Katie Finneran and Anthony Warlow, Annie will begin its run at Broadway’s Palace Theatre on October 3, with opening night to follow on November 8.
